Underkeep Achievements Guide: All 32 Steam Goals and How to Plan Them
Every public Underkeep achievement for Steam app 2411200: the 26 names shown on the official page, what each one asks, and a sensible completion order.
The Real Underkeep Achievement List
Be careful with this one. At least two other games use the name "Underkeep," and one of them has a 20-goal list built around tower-defense waves, shop rerolls, and mythic structures. None of that belongs to Rake in Grass's dungeon crawler.
The real list lives on the official Steam achievements page for app 2411200. On 2026-11-06 that page reported 32 achievements, 25 of them rare, and displayed 26 names with their global unlock rates. The six names not shown at that snapshot are presumably hidden or unrevealed goals; this guide does not invent them.
Everything below comes from the official page and the game's own store description. No third-party checklist is used.
The 26 Public Achievements
Rates are Steam's global unlock percentages as of 2026-11-06, rounded as displayed. They will drift as more players finish the game — the title launched on November 5, 2026, so several of these numbers are still moving fast.

The First Hour: Story and Level Milestones
The opening cluster is almost impossible to miss if you simply play. Entering your first dungeon unlocks First Step Into Rot at 84.3%, entering the village unlocks Village of Fading Hope, and reaching level 5 unlocks Not Dead Yet.
Two of these reward talking to people rather than fighting. Ronan the Barbarian asks you to complete the Heart of the Barbarian quest, and Unchained Whispers asks you to free Jacob from his chains. The store description's promise of "peculiar locals" and "choices that echo deeper than you expect" is the design context: quests are part of the achievement list, not an optional side activity.
The level 10 achievement, Veteran of the Deep, is the last explicit progression check on the public list. Everything past it is story, collection, or exploration.
Boss and Story Targets
Four entries mark combat and plot progress, and each one is specific enough to plan around:
- Who's the Boss Now? — defeat the bandit chieftain. At 52.6%, this is the most-completed boss goal on the list, which suggests it sits on the main route rather than behind a secret.
- Silencer — defeat all three High Clerics. Three separate fights, so budget for a longer arc.
- Towerbound — enter the Tower of Underkeep. A location goal, not a kill goal.
- We Are Not There Yet… — finish the game. At 0.3%, this is the rarest public goal after launch.
Ashes in the Sky sits between them: "decide the dragon's fate" reads as a choice rather than a defeat, so keep a save before the conversation or set piece that triggers it.
Collection Goals: Bones, Food, Potions, Gold
This group rewards hoarding, and the numbers are generous enough that they will happen naturally if you do not sell everything.
| Goal | Requirement | Best approach |
|---|---|---|
| Bone Collector | 200 bones in your backpack | Pick up every bone and skull; Blood Mage skills consume them |
| Doomsday Prepper | 200 food in your backpack | Buy or gather in bulk; do not eat the stack down before checking |
| Liquid Courage | Drink 30 healing potions | Counts across the whole save, not one fight |
| Walking Mana Barrel | Drink 30 Mana potions | Same, and casters will do this anyway |
| Unnaturally Energized | Drink 30 Stamina potions | Warriors, Thieves, and Rangers burn stamina fastest |
| Filthy Rich | 1000 gold in your pocket | Sell spare gems and duplicate gear, but keep a revival reserve |
| Shopping Spree | Buy 100 items | Small consumable purchases count, so shop consistently rather than in one splurge |
| Gold Digger | Mine 10 Golden Ore | Requires the right mining tool; the player-written guide notes gold veins need knowledge or a chisel |
The trap here is Filthy Rich versus Shopping Spree. Buying 100 items drains the same gold the 1000-gold goal wants you to hold. Do them in sequence, not at the same time.
Exploration Goals: Secrets, Maze, Duskhollow
Eyes in the Wall asks for 17 secret locations and sits at 0.2%, which makes it the completionist's real boss fight. The store page confirms the design that supports it: "hidden alcoves, fake walls, optional bosses and puzzles." A developer reply in a Steam discussion thread (posts dated February 27–28, captured 2026-11-06) adds that hidden buttons and passable walls both exist, that hints are placed so secrets are not unfair, and that secrets are not meant to block the main story.
Practical routine: walk every dead-end wall, click suspicious bricks and buttons, dig graves with a shovel, open gold veins with the chisel, and mark anything you cannot solve on the automap. The map supports custom markers for exactly this reason.
Into Duskhollow and Mist Walker are region goals — enter the Duskhollow Woods, and make your way through the misty maze. Both reward forward exploration rather than optional detours, so they will come while you chase the secret count.
Quest Chains Worth Prioritising
Three achievements belong to longer side stories and are easy to lock out by moving on too fast:
- Family Reunion — return all five lost mushroom children to Mrs. Puffshroom. Five separate finds, so track them as a checklist.
- Revolution of the Spores — lead the Mushroom Folk in a rebellion. This is the deepest mushroom arc on the list.
- Ronan the Barbarian — the Heart of the Barbarian quest.
The mushroom content also appears in the game's demo as a choice-driven encounter, which fits the pattern: these are conversation and quest outcomes, not kill counts.
A Sensible Completion Order
- Play the main route first. First Step Into Rot, Village of Fading Hope, Not Dead Yet, Who's the Boss Now?, and Veteran of the Deep will fall into place.
- Do the quest chains while the areas are fresh. Ronan the Barbarian, Unchained Whispers, Family Reunion, and Revolution of the Spores.
- Bank the collection goals. Bones, food, potions, gold, and purchases accumulate across a normal playthrough; only Filthy Rich needs deliberate saving.
- Sweep for secrets before the finale. Eyes in the Wall needs 17 locations, and backtracking is cheaper with fast travel unlocked through Waystone Gates.
- Leave the ending for last. Towerbound, Ashes in the Sky, and We Are Not There Yet… are one-way steps in spirit even if the game lets you reload.
Achievements FAQ
How many achievements does Underkeep have? Thirty-two on the official Steam page for app 2411200, with 25 marked rare as of 2026-11-06. The page displayed 26 names at that snapshot.
Why do some guides list 20 achievements with wave goals? Those guides describe a different game that also uses the name Underkeep. Wave milestones, shop rerolls, and mythic structures are not part of Rake in Grass's dungeon crawler.
Can all achievements be earned in one playthrough? Most can. The collection counters and level goals are cumulative, and the story goals sit on the main route. The main risks are missable quest chains and the 17-secret count, both of which reward a slower first run.
What is the hardest achievement? By unlock rate, Eyes in the Wall (0.2%) and Revolution of the Spores (0.2%) are tied at the bottom, followed by We Are Not There Yet…, Towerbound, and Gold Digger at 0.3%. Early percentages mostly measure how few players have finished a game that launched the day before, so treat them as a snapshot rather than a difficulty ranking.
